Yes, in March 2010, the US Army Corps of Engineers announced that they will create new plans regarding the development of hydroelectric resources that will help our country reach its energy, environmental, and economic goals. They’re looking at creating sources of energy that will amount to 100,000 megawatts. They’re looking at opportunites to double their generating capacity, and employ more than 700,000 americans to do the job.
