Does the arctic use a lot of energy?

Well, few people live in the Arctic, and the ones who do have probably developed more natural ways to stay warm enough than the rest of the world has. It’s just a guess, but I’d say it uses very little. Expeditions in the Arctic may use a lot of energy initially, for transportation and things, but because for the most part there’s no way to provide electrical power by wire, they’d have to limit their use of energy to what they could carry in batteries.
