Does any one know if rhinoceros takes more time than hippo to desompose?

    Larger animals generally take more time to decompose because their bones are denser and larger than those of smaller animals. Rhinos are generally larger than hippos, weighing 3-4 tons, while hippos only weight up to 2.5 tons. Their larger bone structure, as well as their horns would likely take more time to decompose than the bones of a hippo.
