Does animal size differ on islands?

Yes!  The Key Deer on the Florida keys are a great example.  They are a subspecies of white-tailed deer that migrated to the Florida Keys and have become smaller as the population has become inbred.  The phenomena of changing size is referred to as “island gigantism” or “island dwarfism” depending on whether the animal is getting bigger or smaller.
