A recent review of Al Gore’s energy consumption patterns at his Tennessee home found that he was using twenty times the energy of the normal American. According to a conservative Tennessee Think Tank, while the average home consumer 10,656 kilo-watt hours of energy a year, Gore’s estate consumed 221,000 kilo-watt hours. At over $1300 a months, the Nobel Prize winner’s estate must devote in excess of $16,000 a year in energy bills.
