Does acid rain cause rust faster than regular rain?

    Yes. The more acidic something is, the more it will cause rust and erosion. Water is generally a 7 on a pH scale (average level of acidity) whereas acid rain can sometimes get as low as 2 or 3 on a pH scale (much more acidic).
