It is certainly irrelevant what I or anyone else thinks… Whether either one still exists in 2050 could be debatable. See previous answers.
It’s difficult to say. Both help the environment by reducing pollution from conventional car engines, and both have not rapidly caught on to spark serious competition with traditional gasoline-based cars. I think since the they are still in the beginning stages of development, we have to see what the final product is like and whether it is more or less expensive than gasoline cars now. I think fuel cell vehicles sounds promising though.
