I do not see why not. If there is an opportunity to pass legislation that will help the environment, our leaders should take it. Now is the time to start pushing for cleaner energy bills and such, and I would be very happy to see that happen.
Yes, definitely. One reason is that the sooner tougher energy standards and green energy incentives are passed, the better it is for the environment. Second, his voting advantage is not guaranteed. The 2010 elections are coming up, and if Republicans win more seats, Obama may not be able to pass some of the more crucial green initiatives.
