I definitely think so. While industrialized countries may be rivaled by the amount of waste from developing countries such as India and China, on aper capita basis, industrialized countries waste much more. It is important to view it in a pollution per capita basis, because developing countries like China and India have over a billion people living there. That is more than three times the amount of people in the United States. This large amount of waste is evident in everyday industrialized life. Throwing away disposable products, throwing out old food, wasting water are all activities people in developing countries can’t afford to do, but people in industrialized countries take for granted.
