Although the Rainforest has been irreparably harmed by the destructive human practices of mining, logging and farming and by climate change, I have to believe that there will always be people who will in some manner oppose the complete destruction of the Amazon. There are dozens of groups and organizations that work tirelessly to preserve one of the most important regions on Earth and the species and life that reside within it.
“Ever” is a long long time. Long enough for literally anything to happen, from the elimination of all rain forests to the entire planet being covered by rain forests.
If human population continues to grow at a dramatic rate, and we continue to deplete our resources, then yeah, it’s a possibility. But probably in the unforeseeable future.
