No. There has mostly been negative feedback and criticism about Germany’s plans to phase out nuclear plants. While Belgium has followed suite in doing a phase out other countries like Britain, the Czech Republic, Vietnam, India, Taiwan and even Japan have all just recently starting building new nuclear plants and are thus no where near having a phase out. In a day where finding alternative energy is so important it’s unrealistic to expect many countries to phase out nuclear energy.
I think that a lot of countries would like to lose their dependence on nuclear energy, but at this day and age it’s not entirely realistic for them to quit using it cold turkey. We are still in the process of developing other types of more sustainable energy, so I think a transition like this is quite a few years away.
