Do you think that baseball season or football season is worse for the environment?

Judging by the sheer amount of games played by baseball teams each year and the electricity, maintenance required, and waste generated by the 2,430 regular season games played every year in the Major League alone, baseball most likely has a larger ecological footprint.  Given that only 256 regular season games are played in the NFL, even with football’s greater popularity, baseball, with its longer season and greater number of games will do significantly more environmental damage every season.
