I would say biofuel derived from corn will have more of an impact and future in America simply because there aren’t large enough quantities of Algae right now. Though, algae can potentially produce more oil per acre because of its higher lipid density, we just do not have enough. Maybe with the development and further advancements of 2nd generation biofuels this conversation won’t even mean anything.
