Here’s a cool shot of one of the largest community gardens in the United States, a 14-acre urban garden in the middle of South Central Los Angeles. Built in a plot of dormant land directly across from the I-5 freeway, the garden was designed after the destructive 1992 LA riots in an attempt to help mend a community broken by weeks of chaos.
