Do you get sun burned worse when it is cloudy outside?

It depends on the coverage and thickness of the clouds.  In general, clouds act to absorb or reflect the sun’s radiation.  Radiation can still reach the Earth’s surface if clouds exist, yet the amount of radiation transmitted to the Earth’s surface depends on the cloud’s thickness.  It’s best to be prepared for a possible sunburn and wear sunscreen.
