There are opportunities to recycle mattress, specific places that can disassemble all the components of mattresses. While it is important to live relatively closely to a recycling facility, if it’s not possible, mattresses can be given away as well. But in answer to your question, no, organic mattresses can be disposed of the same way as an ordinary mattress. Only the quality and the way the mattress materials were made in the first place are any different.
Ideally a you’d find a local recycling facitlity to pick it up. All it’s components can be recycled. Springs are used to make new springs. Patting used for carpet padding etc.
