Do wireless microphones use more energy than ones with a chord?

Keep in mind that a wireless microphone requires a battery to power it, as well as requiring plug-in power for the transmitter. That battery requires lots of energy to be produced, and it must be purchased (going to the store requires energy) and eventually disposed of (hopefully recycled!) So I would say yes, they do require more energy.
