Do wild pigs or captive pigs generally have more babies?

    Generally captive or farm pigs have larger litters than wild pigs. The average size of a wild pig litter is between 3-6. The average size of a farm pig varies, but is usually no more than 8 or 9. Recently, as farmers and factories have been able to alter the amount of babies of a pig, the litter maximum has grown to about 10.
