Scientist continue to discover new whale species.  Currently, there are approximately 85 species of whale.  Of those 85, 73 species have teeth, while the remaining 12-14 are baleen.  Killer whales have between 40-56 teeth.  Baleen whales, such as gray, humpback, and blue whale have no teeth, instead they have long plates of baleen which strain food from the water.
