Do we use a lot of water to make glass?

Aside from whatever the glassblowers are drinking (glass blowing houses tend to be rather warm), there should be little to no water use during the creation of glass. Man-made glass is created by combining a mixture of sand, sodium bicarbonate, and limestone which is then heated at high temperatures, before the reulting combination is molded and allowed to cool, resulting in glass.

    I hope this helped!
