CBS followed a truck of e-waste from Denver to discover where it ultimately ends up, and found it’s final resting place was in Victoria Harbor, Hong Kong. Another place where E-waste ends up is Guiyu, China, a small town where traces of lead is found in children’s blood. This town has some of the highest level of cancer-causing dioxins in the world, and pregnancies are 6 times more likely to end in a miscarriage. It is believed that 70% of the world’s e-waste ends up in China.
