Yes, and I think that in terms of new ways to teach the new age of the Internet and technology will be interesting avenues. Even though they both seem to be the opposite of what the environment represents, these outlets are what our children will be most familiar with growing up now. We should make the effort to teach our children where technology comes from, how it affects the environment, and what their impacts are from using it. The Internet is a powerful information and knowledge dissemination tool which can also be used to teach children about the environment. Through the Internet, children will be able to peer into different habitats in different parts of the world, talk to the people who live there, and see what is going on in almost real time.
