Yes. We could build more wind farms, electric vehicles, nuclear plants, hydroelectric plants, etc., and use the energy produced from them to make more. We could set aside more funding to research nuclear transmutation of high-level waste into benign metals, and use those to make solar panels (which is pretty idealist to say, but probably possible).
Problems arise on the political end: we’re stubborn creatures. Fixing the energy problems would create a whole sea of new problems. People would lose their jobs, the economy would palpitate, and Harleys wouldn’t make that beautiful roar anymore.
