Do we have a national MPG rating?

The industry-wide Corporate Average Fuel Economy (CAFE) can be used to measure the national MPG of new cars. It would be almost impossible to establish an accurate MPG rating for all existing cars on the road now. The estimated CAFE for model year 2011 is 27.3 miles per gallon.
