Do we have enough of an infrastructure in place to support fuel cell cars right now?

    I’m assuming you’re referring to United States and hydrogen fuel cells. You can look at the map shown in the link in citations. Based on Department of Energy data, only some states have hydrogen fueling stations at all, primarily in northeast and southwest. But even out of these, almost all aren’t for public use – only California has those, and only three at that. There are no planned public stations listed either.

    So we’re definitely not ready for hydrogen cars yet.
