Do wasps hurt the North American Honey Bee population?

There are no honey bees that are native to North America, so I am not quite sure what you are referring to when you mention the North American Honey Bee population. There are certainly honey bees that bee keepers have introduced and maintain. But wasps do “steal” honey from bee hives, which can reduce profit for bee keepers and can threaten the hives’ ability to overwinter.
