Do tribes in the Amazon eat a lot of meat?

It depends on the tribe. Some tribes like the Huaorani are known for their hunting prowess. They eat a lot more meat than tribes that fish, or rely on farming as their primary form of subsistance, like the Yanomamo. The meats they eat include monkey, tapir, turtles and wild boar.
