Oak trees produce pollen that is bright yellow and will stain the ground, cars, and sidewalks. Each spring, there is a period of time when these little pods are the cause of many allergies. News stations will report on specific pollen or allergy percentages to alert viewers. Cedar is also a leading cause of allergies seasonally due to pollen increases.
