Yes! This is not the world of Dr. Seus’s Lorax who is responsible for saving trees! Trees definitely exist, but they are in trouble of being deforested. Trees are essential to life, without them we would not have oxygen, so as long as human kind is still around, so are trees.

Humans and animals depend on trees for our air, food, shelter, and resources, so I would say that trees are a very big part of life cycles on this planet. Trees typically have green leaves with green or brown bark, but there are many exceptions to this rule, like the Joshua tree, which is more akin to cactus than most trees types.
