Do timber buildings eat carbon?

If I understand your question correctly, you asking if building made from tree products consume carbon. No, buildings made from wood do not consume carbon. Living plants consume carbon through a process called photosynthesis, but once the plant has been killed for use as a building material, it can no longer perform photosynthesis.
