Not necessarily. Some people experience sulfite sensitivities, where consuming food with sulfites causes an allergic-like reaction. Food labels should list any sulfites.
Though there is not scientific evidence to prove it, many people have thought sulfites to be a trigger for migraines. Other food additives are said to cause headaches as well, most notably MSG and aspartame. There are many supposed triggers, but avoiding sulfites, if you are a migraine sufferer, is not difficult to do.
