Yes, they can live after they lose their legs. They can even regenerate legs, but it depends on when the leg was lost. If a spider lost it’s leg soon after it moulted, chances are it will be able to regrow the leg after a few moults. However, if it lost its leg after 25% of the time between moults, there is a small chance of it being able to grow back.
