Solar panels can get really hot. Most solar panels can withstand maximum temperatures between 150 and 190 degrees Fahrenheit. However, it is not desirable for a solar panel to get that hot because light is what produces electricity from a solar panel, not heat. An increased amount of heat reduces the voltage of the electricity the solar panel can produce.
