Do snow plows pollute the snow as they get it off the road?

If you’re refering to just the front end of the plow, then the answer is no. However, car exhaust has a way of getting in the snow anyway. Snow plows also drop a salt compound to melt the ice, which harms the grass on the side of the street. Snow plows typically only get about 5 miles a gallon, so they still pollute the atmosphere if they aren’t polluting the snow.
