Do satellites in space tell us anything about climate change?

Yes, satellites have given us valuable data about global rainfall, melting arctic ice and the effects of pollution on clouds and weather patterns, all of which are indicators of climate change. Additionally, they can tell us about concentrations of various chemicals in the atmosphere and changing temperatures in the ocean and over land. All this data, when used together, tells us much about global warming.
