Do renewable energy projects take longer to finish than fossil fuel projects?

It would seem so. The infrastructure for fossil fuel projects has been in place for decades, and there is a lot of political pressure from companies to keep on doing what they’ve been doing to gain profits over the years while being able to meet the public’s energy needs. For renewable energy product development to become more efficient, there needs to be more political pressure and economic incentive on all levels for the projects to be completed.
