Do prisons do anything to conserve energy?

Prisons use a ton of energy, and in an effort to reduce costs many are going green.  Many prisons are giving inmates tasks which significantly reduce energy needed to run facilites.  Prisons are be ginning to compost in order to grow organic vegetables, raise bees, and even turn shoe scraps into playground turf.  Some facilities have installed water boilers that run on waste, some have invested in wind turbines, some are capturing rain water for later use, some are investing in solar energy, and etc.
