Porcupines do have natural predators even though they have barbed quills that can become embedded in a predator and slowly work there way deeper and deeper into the predator, which can be fatal. Some natural predators of the porcupine are; fishers, coyotes, bobcats, lynx, wolverines, mountain lions, great horned owls, and wolves.
