Yes, polar bears migrate. In the summer, polar bears migrate with the shifting ice pack and follow the ice edge from near the shore to about 125 miles offshore. In the Fall, polar bears migrate south with the advancing ice pack. Some polar bear migration patterns actually run through human civilization sparking tourism in that area during that time of year.
