Do people in Asia fly more than we do?

    Between September 2009 and August 2010, the U.S. recorded a little over 700,000 “revenue passenger enplanements” – that’s the total number of passengers boarding aircraft, including connections and excluding any cargo flights.  That’s according to the U.S. Bureau of Transportation Statistics.  The second link below provides a table of the top ten countries in air traffic, and lists the US at #1 with China #2 – with the U.S. having about four times as much total air traffic as China.
