Do pandas live in rain forests?

    Pandas naturally live in temperate forests of southern China, in the Sichuan, Gansu, and Shaanxi provinces. The can be found in the Minshan Mountains and Qinling Mountains. They reside in forests of bamboo, the plant that makes up the majority of their diet.

    Giant Pandas do not live in tropical rainforests. They live in bamboo forests in the mountains of Central China. The forests are categorized as broadleaf and coniferous, but they do experience lots of rain. This is the only place pandas are found besides zoos.
