As Governor of California, Schwarzenegger worked to pass AB32–a landmark piece of emissions-controlling legislation. Governor Schwarzenegger is in a position of power since California is one of the largest, and most populated states in the country. President Obama has made sustainable green jobs and renewable energy some of his top priorities. While the two politicians (from opposing parties) may not work together too often, their similar goals for protecting the environment make them both assets to the U.S.A.
I think they have similar interests in balancing the views of environmentalists and business industry leaders. They would both like America to progress economically and environmentally. Nevertheless, I do not believe that they have worked together directly to help America. Party lines are what separate theme, unfortunately.
