Accoring to the National Wildlife Federation and the Gale Group, every year in the U.S., the total amount of water pollution from motorboats may equal 10 to 15 Exxon Valdez oil spill disasters! Motorboats also contribute to air pollution.
Motorboats also make it easier for people upon them to pollute, so indirectly they contribute to additional pollution just by acting as a means.
