Yes, many plastic products leak Bisphenol A. People are most concerned with plastic bottles that contain BPA because we can consume the chemical in the water we drink out of these bottles. In general, it is best to drink from stainless steel water bottles. Plastic bottles labeled with the numbers 2, 4, and 5 are generally safe to drink from. Plastics labeled with the recycling number 7 are most known for leaching BPA. These are typically the hard plastics in colorful varieties often referred to as Nalgene bottles.
