Do most hybrids use the same types of batteries?

According to the diagram that I have cited below, nickel-metal hydride batteries power the most hybrid vehicles, at five: the Toyota RAV4-EV, Toyota Prius, Chrysler Epic, Honda EV, and Chevy S-10. Advanced lead acid batteries are close behind, at three: the Audi Duo, GM EV-1, and Solectria Force.

It is safe to say, I believe, that most hybrid vehicles are powered by these two types of battery.
