Do more animals live near the mouth of a cave?

When it comes to cave dwelling organisms, there are some who can only stay in the farthest reaches, Troglobites, as they have evolved into creatures unable to survive in sunlight.

This is sort of the reason why animals seek out (or are born into) a cave environment, because it is the only way they can survive. Animals that inhabit the areas closer to the enrtance are known as Trogloxene, which means they are only there to hibernate or hide from predators.
