Do mice or rabbits reproduce faster?

  1. 0 Votes

Mice are theoretically ready to reproduce at four to seven weeks, are pregnant for about three weeks, and have an average of twelve babies. Different types of rabbits may reach sexual maturity anywhere from four to twelve months after birth, gestation (pregnancy) lasts a month, and twelve is normally the maximum number of offspring at any time.

So, while both are prolific breeders, on average mice produce more offspring, faster.
