Do LED’s get hot?

    Generally speaking, No.

LED’s do not have filament like traditional bulbs. The filament is what heats up. In addition they are considered solid state devices and do not suffer from the detriments of time coupled with friction. LED’s are illuminated through electrons passing through semiconductor matter.
