Do I have to worry about raccoons if I have a compost pile?

Not if you have taken the necessary precautions.  Ensure you are not composting meats and fat, milk products, or whole eggs.  Ensure a pest free area by placing your compost in a properly fenced area.  Also by layering grass and yard clippings or sawdust on your compost pile should quell the scent and make the pile less attractive to scavengers.  There are also lidded compost bins that you can purchase or make at home.
