Do hibernating animals have a longer lifespan than non-hibernating ones? Why?

Yes, hibernating animals do live longer than those that do not hibernate. The reason for this is that while the animal is in hibernation mode, it reduces its metabolism and demand for oxygen. This allows for better and more efficient physical performance and endurance leading to significant lifespan extension.
